Hi,

Daflon is a venotonic (it increases venous tone) and a vasculoprotector (it increases resistance in small blood vessels). It is used experimentally for treating chronic venous insufficiency and for treating hemorrhoidal diseases.

It can cause some side effects such as stomach and abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, skin redness and hives, muscle pain, blood problems, and altered heart rate.
Chronic fever has no relation to this drug. Visit your clinician and he will procure a few blood infections to evaluate its origin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
