Is There Any Issues In Using Nasal Sprays To Suppress Appetite?

To whom it may concern My friend has used one of those nasal sprays which surpresses appetitie. She used for a period of six months when she was 17. Being 21 now she is experiencing hairloss, shortness of breath and vomiting after every meal. She is not annorexic nor bulmic, she just can t seem to keep her food down. Given that is has been over three years is it normal for her to still be experiencing those side effects? Thanks, Laura

Dear Friend.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
I don't know what Nasal sprays your friend is using.
But in any case, they should not be used. There are other better and safe ways to control weight gain.
I would suggest you to mention the weight, height and what Nasal Sprays your friend has been using.
This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any query you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
