Hello and welcome to HCM,

Pap smear is done to look for premalignant or malignant change in the cells of cervical lining.
There is presence of normal bacteria in vaginal tract called Lactobacilli which are rod shaped.
The normal pH of vaginal tract is acidic.
Any change in pH of vaginal tract is associated with disappearance of normal Lactobacilli in the tract and replacement by cocco-bacilli.
This change is called 'shift to left'.

Similar changes are seen on your Pap report.
There is presence of inflammation which is causing features of repair.

The infection in the vaginal tract has to be treated first and then a Pap test has to be repeated.

Consult your gynecologist for prescription of anti-microbial and repeat Pap test after clearance of infection.

Thanks and take care
