Hello,
Tubal re-canalization is successful in about a half of patients and the rate of success depends on the technique of sterilization, the age of the patient and the length of the tube remaining. Laparoscopic sterilization reversal has higher rates of re-canalization; final length of the tube more than 5 cm and age of the patient less than 30 years are also favorable. So, you should consult a specialist in re-canalization procedures and discuss the further plan of action. If it is decided that attempting a tubal re-canalization is futile, IVF may be considered. Hope your query is answered. Take care.
