Is There A Relation Between Whooshing In My Ear And HBP?

Hi....I started with a whooshing in my right ear, it s been a couple days. Mostly at night. I hear it when I turn my head a certain way. I do have high blood pressure, it s not really high but I m on medication. I have also been put on iron and vitamin C for extremely low iron. Is there a relation? Or should I worry?

Hi I can understand your concern dear ....

No need for much worry. ...

Anemia and hypertension can lead tinnitus. ...
So continue treatment for them.....

Here you ear examination also has to be done ....

Rinne and weber test done ....Otoscopy examination done to visualise impacted wax or perforated ear drum ...

If wax is there it should be removed. ...

For tympanic membrane perforation myringoplasty done ....

If needed PTA done .....

Rule out diabetis and thyroid problem if suspected. ..

Consult ENT surgeon with keeping my answer in mind ....

Hope your concern solved ...

Take care .....
