Is There A Chance Of Recurrence Of Tb If Remicade Is Taken Again?

I am 41 years old and have been diagnosed with Crohn s for the last 20 years. I have required three surgeries due to perforation or obstruction but had been taking Remicade for about two years and in 2003 due to my suppressed immune system was diagnosed with miliary TB. Sine that time my Symptoms have come and gone but I am having a severe flare currently and my GI doc of 14 years sent me for a second opion and she did find active disease and narrowing. She said that they do treat people with Remicade following remission but I am terrified and I think it would be a bad decision. I had TB in multiple organs including lungs, thyroid, liver, bone, joint, spleen, and cutaneous. What is the chance of recurrence if I were to agree to taking the Remicade again. I was so sick I am terrified at the thought. I need another medical opinion from a doctor that really knows TB. Thank you

Hi,

Etanercept is an alternative. Less chances of remission, but its own side effects are there. Adalimumab is also there but almost same recurrence with infliximab orremicab. There is panch-karma therapy. They have no side effects and can combine with TB medication. Recurrence rate is reduced to nil. Join sahaj samadhi breathing technique. Research shows total eradication of Crohn's disease when combined with immuno-supressants.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
