Is The Liver Mass Found After The Ovarian Cyst Worrisome?

I have had many CT's over the past year due to a large septated ovarian cyst that was scheduled to be removed in Sept, but my husband lost his job just a few weeks before it was to be done and we lost our insurance so the surgery was canceled. Last week I ended up in the ER due to pain from the cyst leaking again and on that CT a 7.5mm low attenuation mass was found in my liver that had not been on any of the previous CT's. Should I worry about this new small mass since we do not know of the ovary is cancerous or ignore it as an incidental finding?

If there are no malignant characteristics of this mass then you should not be worried. You need to have frequent follow ups with ultrasound and check liver markers from time to time and do tumors markers to see if ovarian issue is benign or malignant. Treatemnt is usually not required for benign lesions.
