Is The Bump Behind The Ear A Swollen Lymph Node Or Mastoiditis?

my daughter has a pea sized bump behind her ear. it is tender to the touch, red, and a bit swollen. she has a history of a cholesteatoma in this ear and has had multiple tympanoplasties in this ear. could this be just a swollen lymph node or mastoiditis?

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Pea size lump can not be mastoiditis- as this is always a spread swelling with sever symptoms of pain, fever and redness.

The best way is to go for an FNAC =fine needle aspiration cytology examination.
And high resolution CT scan will conform what everything is.
