Hello Sanjeev,

Thank you for asking at HCM.

I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:

1. At present, I would mostly agree with her current treatment - Montelukast + Levocetirizine (Montari-LC kid), Salmucolite, Defcort (Oral steroid), Cefoprox (antibiotic), and inhaled drugs - Duolin and Budecort.

2. If she is not feeling well despite above drugs, I would increase frequency of salbutamol (a content in Duolin) for wheezing and breathing difficulty.

3. I would not continue then antibiotic after completion of suggested duration of the course.

4. I would suggest her allergy testing to identify the substances that she may be allergic to.

5. I would suggest her plenty of fluids during the day, rest and light diet to aid early recovery.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.

Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.

Wish your daughter a very good recovery and a great health ahead.

Thank you & Regards.
