Is Taking HCG Injection During Pregnancy Safe For The Baby?
according to my LMP calculation it was 7th week of pregnancy but scan report tells it is 5 th week , i have done beta hcg test also ,in this stage my doc prescribed me to take hcg 5000 injection once in three days, totally 4 dose, i was confused, whether my baby was safe or not plz help

I needed some more information from you to help you better.
Do you have regular cycles. Is this pregnancy immediately after stopping contraception?
Did you do a urine pregnancy test when you missed your period? If yes, then when was It done?
You have mentioned that you did betaHCG test. What was the result?
Have you had any miscarriages before?
I shall answer based on the notes you have given. To know whether your pregnancy is safe repeat beta HCG after 48 hours. If it has almost doubled compared to the first reading then your pregnancy is safe.
There is some evidence that HCG MAY help in implantation. But there is no clear proof. You may take HCG injections. It has no adverse effect on baby.
If I were your doctor I would repeat beta HCG after 48 hours. That would usually make things clear.
