Is Switching From Zetia To Ezetimibe Advisable?

My husband is on Zetia right now but because we need to pick out a prescription D plan I have some questions about switching to Ezetimibe. He has been very sensitive to any changes in his prescription in the past. Do you think there would be a problem changing to the generic drug?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Zetia to Ezetimibe are the same drugs. So, it is less likely that he will experience any adverse effects from this change. There is nothing to worry about!

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
