Is Sky Diving Recommended After A Heart Attack?

MY husband suffered a heart attack last August. He had three stents put in. Other issues he has is hyperlipidemia and diabetes. He is on medication for all of this and things are under control. He is 57 years old. He wants to skydive in three weeks for the first time ever so he will be doing a tandem jump. What do you think?

Emergency Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Since he underwent angioplasty and having comorbid conditions like diabetes and dyslipidemia, it will be a risky situation in comparison to a normal person.
If he is symptom free since last august, comorbid conditions are under well control, if on regular medications, decision can be taken with minimal risk.
