Is Puss And Blood Coming Out Of The Wound In The Arm A Concern?

I took a piece of plywood to the dump this weekend and while throwing it way it scraped my arm pretty good and I have been digging slivers of wood out of my arm since and part of the area is swollen. I remove a sliver today and puss & blood started coming out of the wound is this cause for concern?

Hello, Thanks for using Healthcaremagic. i had gone through all the data posted.
if there is swelling and pus it is better to consult a doctor.
we need to examine the wound and remove any debris, send pus for culture and start you on antibiotics otherwise the wound infection may spread and can cause more problems so kindly visit your doctor for further management.

Hope this helps..
