Is Purple Bruise On Ribcage Sign Of Lyme Disease Or Cancer?

Hello I have a dark purple circular bruise that s white in the middle with a hard (what feels like a ball) in the center on my left upper ribcage. I m nervous as to what it is. Some sources say it could be Lyme disease or luekemia. What do u think it is? It hurts too

Hi.
As per your case history you of bruise, my treatment advice is -
1. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
2. Lyme's disease or leukemia is the definitive diagnosis requiring a skin biopsy.
3. So don't worry. If the problem persists even after 7-10 days then consult a dermatologist.
