Is Prolonged QT To Be Concerned As Per The EKG Test Result?

40 year old male 5 9 350 lbs. recent EKG read as follows, vent rate 89bpm, PR interval 144ms, QRS duration 88ms, QT/QTc 400/486ms, P-R-T axes 41 35 54, normal sinus, prolonged QT, abnormal ECG?? Should I be concerned about going under anesthesia tomorrow for surgery?

Dear patient as you are obese and also having QT prolongation which is a cause for serious arrhythmias cumulatively make you a high risk candidate for surgery. Being an anesthesiologist I would suggest you to take a serious cardiology opinion first and if that is taking time and surgery is not emergent, postpone the surgery.
