Is Primolut N Effective In Terminating Pregnancy?

Hi,
- Primolute N is an oral contraceptive & needs to be taken through out menstrual cycle for it's effect.It does not have any role in termination of pregnancy.
- However, in case the delayed period is without conception,& is due to some other cause like hormonal imbalance,A short course with double dose ( 1 tablet twice a day for 5 days )- results in withdrawal bleeding within 7 days of stopping pill.
