General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you already had a cycle, pregnancy is not a possibility. Delay in period up to a week is completely normal. However, if the issue is persistent follow up with ObGyn for detailed evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
