Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking An Oral Contraceptive Pill?

On August 13th . My bf did not penetrate inside of me . However , he ejaculated on my vagina . I took Unwanted 72 , 3-4 hours after the incident . I am worried that I may be pregnant . I am a virgin and my period last month started on July 23rd . My periods are usually 2-3 early or late . Please tell me if I am pregnant or not . I have been getting little lower abdominal pain , and I think my food diet is getting more (I am eating more) , and I am getting white discharge . I am really worried . Please help me .

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. In the current scenario, your chances of conception are very low as you consumed the emergency contraceptive pill within the stipulated interval. Please remember that deposition of semen on the vagina, even the pre-ejaculate during the fertile period is sufficient to cause conception. You had the sexual encounter during the fertile period. Your symptoms are mostly due to the high hormone content of the pill. Your next natural period may get delayed by a week or two. In future, please use regular contraception and try to restrict the use of emergency contraceptive pill for one or two occasions per year. Hope this helps.
