Is Pelvic Ultrasound Scan Necessary For Treatment Of My Daughter's Precocious Puberty?
my daughter was 9 months old when she was diagnosed with precocious puberty. she went to go see a a pediatric endrologist that ordered tests and after they were all done, the doctor came to the conclusion that she doesn't know what is causing it. i've been doing research on the topic, and i saw that my daughter should've had an pelvic ultrasound done, but the doctor has not ordered one. is it necessary for her to have ordered one?

Yes its compulsory to get an ultrasound pelvis done to confirm the status of the uterus and ovaries ( uterine size, endometrial thickness, ovaries volume ). Endometrial status, myometrium and its thickness and echo-texture.
After ultrasound uterus - an MRI will also be good - its good for anatomical delineation.
