Is Palpitation And Shakiness Sign Of Panic Attack?

Hi I'm Ellie. I'm 16 and have been getting really bad butterflies in my stomach. I'm thinking this could be down to a guy I really like and have hung out with but the other day he had to leave England to go home (he's German). Ever since he's left I've had worse anxiety in my stomach. I get it a lot anyway over small things but now it's worse. However today I experienced shortness of breath, but not hyperventilation, heart palpitations, shaking and random crying for no reason at rest. I'm not sure if this was a panic attack because I didn't hyperventilate. Also I get heart palpitations a lot too even at rest. I'm also a type 1 diabetic. I'd be grateful if someone could help me.
Thanks

hello,I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
yes ,your symptoms are related to anxiety, because your boy friend has left and you are missing him! this event has made impact on you and your sympathetic system is over active producing your symptoms.you must focus on good control of sugar too.Your HBA1C should be below 7%.
as far as control of your symptoms is concerned,i suggest you to take mouth dissolving clonazepam 0.5 mg during spell of symptoms.,which will give you immediate relief.
yoga and meditation will help you over come this event and smoothen control of diabetes as well.
My best wishes
Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
