Is Pain In Umbilical Area During Pregnancy A Cause For Concern?

hi, i am 29 weeks pregnant. this is my 2nd pregnancy. my elder daughter is 18 months old. in this pregnancy i am having pain/ stretching on the right side of umbilical area. when ever i stand for some minutes this pain goes worst and settled down when i take rest. what can it be and is it dangerous for me or baby?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion as the pain is only on one side of umbilicus and varying with the posture it might be muscular origin.So nothing to worry.Take adequate dietary calcium through milk and calcium supplements too.As calcium insufficiency leads to muscle cramps in pregnancy.Avoid physical strain.Take good rest.Slow change of posture might be helpful.
