Is Pain In The Upper Abdominal Area Curable With Medicine?
Dear Sir, as per my latest ultra scan report some tiny gall stones in my gall bloder & fatty liver I am suffering with heavy pain Upper abdaman left side. from last 2 years. is it curable with medicine or required any surgery? kindly advise Please help me sarathkumar

Hi,
Noted your history of severe pain in left side of abdomen, but there are tiny gallstones and fatty liver on ultrasonography.
Since the gallbladder is on right side its problems can not cause pain on the left side of abdomen.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult a General Surgeon or a Gastroenterologist for clinical evaluation, examination and examination.
Since the pain in left side of abdomen can be due to problems related to pancreas, colon, kidney on left side, you need further evaluation.
Clinical evaluation will help for knowing the cause and get investigated further.
You may need a Colonoscopy, CT scan and other investigations as may be advised.
Once a proper diagnosis is made then only one can surely tell you whether your pain can be related with medicines like when there is colitis or IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome.
If there is a surgical cause then surely you will need a surgical correction.
