Is Ovulation/pregnancy Possible While Having Multiple Periods In A Month?

Hi there, So about 2 weeks ago I had my period... Everything was normal like always. Well today I started bleeding again, except this time I m having severe cramping that goes along with it. Now getting my period twice within a month for me is not unusual but with the bad cramping I am concerned. My boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex a lot recently and we are worried about being pregnant. But having my period twice in one month am I still able to ovulate and get pregnant? There are so many possibilities as to what it is. I would just like a more clear answer.

Hello,

You are having periods with short cycles.

Nothing much to worry and ovulation takes place normally.

Pregnancy is possible.

If you fail to conceive, you can consult an infertility specialist and evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
