Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir i can understand your concern
in my opinion steroid will make you diabetes little uncontrolled but steroids are life saving drugs in many conditions.
patients with similar picture coming to my clinic i would like to suggest them to take insulin along with steroid and stop insulin once the steroid is fully stopped.
this is a natural and expected problem in steroid intake
kindly see your treating doc and consider short insulin course
