Hi,

It's difficult to say whether or not Olmezest AM was a high dosage for your high blood pressure without knowing your specific blood pressure readings and medical history. However, Olmezest AM is a combination medication that contains two drugs, olmesartan and amlodipine, which work together to lower blood pressure. Olmesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure, while amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that also helps to relax blood vessels.

Olmestran H 40 is also an ARB, but it only contains olmesartan and not amlodipine like Olmezest AM. Betaone X1 50 is a beta-blocker that also helps to lower blood pressure by slowing down the heart rate and reducing the force of the heart's contractions. It's possible that your doctor changed your medication to better control your blood pressure and reduce any side effects you may have been experiencing, such as leg swelling. However, it's important to follow your doctor's recommendations and continue monitoring your blood pressure to ensure it remains in a healthy range. If you have any concerns about your medication or dosage, it's best to discuss them with your doctor.
