Is Mintop 5% Recommended For Hair Loss For Female?

Hi, I am 30 yrs old woman having hair severe hair fall problem from so many years. i am using Mintop 2% from last 3 years as suggested by my Doctor. I want to know can i use Mintop 5% , as i hav heard that 5% is for men only. But i am not so much satisfied with 2 % Which i am using now. Please suggest.

In general, 2% minoxidil (Mintop) is recommended for female pattern baldness and 5 % for male pattern baldness. 5% minoxidil in women can cause unwanted facial hair growth. If 2% minoxidil use for 3 years has not given much improvement, I would not see much benefit by increasing the strength. You need to rule out underlying causes of hair fall by doing hemoglobin, S.ferritin and by assessing your thyroid status. If these are normal,you could try alternatives like topical biopeptides and procedures like microneedling to improve hair fall. You could also take oral supplements containing biotin, cysteine and methionine.
Have a healthy diet rich in proteins and antioxidants.
Try to reduce your stress levels by yoga/ relaxation techniques.
