Is Marijuana Use Harmful?

I frequently have pain, cramping, diarrhea, nausea, and sometimes vomitting with diverticulitis. Marijuana helps my symptoms, but i work in health care and worry about losing my job. Is this a condition that would be covered under medical marijuana laws in NJ?
