Is Macalvit Syrup Safe For A 6 Months Old Child?

Hello Sir,

My baby(male) 's weight is 7.8kg.He will enter into 6th month in a week.Today he had a general checkup and Dr. suggested Macalvit syrup ( since its the time for the teeth the baby is getting irritation at gums and started biting.Is it safe to use this syrup and kindly let me know its side effects.

This macalvit syrup is calcium preparation and is quite safe to give babies. No significant side effects. except some time loose stools are noted.
