Is Loss Of Weight Due To Obimet In Diabetics?

hi
i m a diabitic patient since last six years, i had started to take obimet sr 500 mg since last two month
insted of GP1. i m lost my weight 5 kg in 2 month, i m not doing any exercise, walking,nothing.....then why i m losing my weight ? is it due to obimet. ..pls informe me.

Dear deepak i can understand your concern.
this scenario can be explained by two ways.
1) in case your diabetes is in good control and you are loosing weight it will be due to obimet.
2)in case your diabetes control is poor and you are loosing weight it is due to uncontrolled blood sugar and not due to obimet.
But obimet is a very good medication and very well known for its weight loosing abilities.
i suggest you to check your Hba1c and Fasting blood sugar
we will be able to suggest you better.
