Doctor diagnosed me w/ bronchitis Or early pneumonia. Since the onset of the cough I have had minimal appetite. also have been battling bad acid reflux (regurgitation every 2-3 days) for last month or two . Was unable to keep water down w/ onset of cough. doctor put me on prilosec and an antibiotic. Just a little concerned that I don't have an appetite. Male age 38.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, early pneumonia and bronchitis can cause decreased appetite.
Actually both are caused by infection and infection is likely cause for low appetite.
You are also having reflux disease. This also contribute to low appetite.
So don't worry too much.
Once your pneumonia and bronchitis are resolved, you will regain your appetite.
You should also control reflux disease for better improvement in appetite.
Along with drug, avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
