Is Light And Short Bleeding Post Intake Of Mifepristone A Cause For Concern?

I took Mifepristone at 12 pm on 28th, 2 Misoprostol at 12 pm on 29th followed by 2 Misoprostol in 3 hours interval i.e. at 3 pm and 6 pm. In the evening I got bleeding and a little mass went out. The bleeding was little unlike in normal menstruation and it lasted very short ending in the next morning. Did the abortion occur or I have to rush to doctor now? Please help me.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand that you have taken abortion pills and started bleeding at right time. But the bleeding appears scanty.
Always you need to take these medications under medical supervision. Otherwise it can cause incomplete abortion leading to complications due to retained products of conception.
Kindly get an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound scan done to know weather all the products if conception has been expelled.
In case there are some products retained, it needs to be intervened by a Gynecologist.
Hope the information provided is clear.
All the best.
