Is Itching Skin After Taking Norco Due To Allergy?
I was prescribed Norco for a recent procedure and I began to itch all over which after the itching started my skin was bumpy and itchy in certain spots on my skin/body (chest..arms..back). The doctor told me to take Benadryl which I did the itching has become controlled but am I my allergic to Norco? I cannot take codeine but I have taken regular "Vicodin" before and have never had these problems before.
I am so sorry to hear about these itches after taking norco. if this happens all the times that you take norco, then my suspicion is that you may be allergic to this product or some other ingredient used in manufacturing it. If it doesn't happen all the times, then it might have been related to some other thing and not this drug. In any case, there are many other pain medications that can be prescribed should it be that you are allergic to this drug. Just provide your doctor with more information and he would be able to address this with you.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information if need be. Thanks.
