General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, it is considered to be a safe medication. Placentrex injection is usually given to treat pelvic infections including to treat the tubal block caused by inflammation or infection.

As of date it is not banned and very much available on prescription. There is no documented evidence of any dangerous side effects or contraindications of this drug yet. Allergic reactions are rare.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
