I am 59yr old female on Arimidex 5 years & about to start fosamex (waiting due to extensive dental procedures). Bone & joint pain, severe night sweats and lethargy are my most significant symptoms. Should I switch to tamoxifan? My osteopenia is now osteoporosis, my internist wants me to begin txt asap. I dont want to add more syptoms to my repetoire. I have no problems falling asleep but I wake up sopping wet at least 2x a night. Then, if its before 3am I take 5mg ambien .I cannot manage going to work after several nights of 4 hrs of sleep or less. Im frustarted and feel like I just add meds to treat other meds symptoms. I think my onco wants me to start on effexor or something like it. I am also in a conundrum about fosamex vs reclast.
