General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Deriphyllin is a bronchodilator and does not require in every cases especially has got very limited role in infections.

Your symptoms are more likely suggestive of an upper respiratory tract infection. Consult a general practitioner and get evaluated.

You can take over the counter available cough syrups for symptomatic relief. In severe cases antibiotics may be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
