Is It Safe To Take Altrocin And Erythromycin For Throat Pain Radiating Towards Neck?

Hi doc.I hv a pain in my throat while talking and moving neck upwards. I feel better after gargling with saline water but it starts again. I hv suffered this before but now my family doc is out of town for a few tym. Should I use althrocin or erythromycin drug as its written on my previous precribtions by my doctor. I hv to attend a very important function day after tmrw. HELP ASAP

Yes you could take Altrocin 500mg as previously prescribed twice a day for 3 days.You should have sore throat according to the symptoms you are facing.
Along with it you could take Acetaminophen/ibuprofen it will reduce pain and swelling. Gargling with saline water should be continued & done 2-3 times a day. Sucking on a cough drop will increase saliva production & moistening the throat.

If problem persists visit a physician
Don't worry you would be fine
