Is It Safe To Not Go For Surgical Treatment Of Fibroadenoma Which Are Getting Smaller By Itself, Can They Reoccur After Surgery And How To Prevent This?

Hello..im 22 years old female..i was diagnosed having fibroadenoma last 2 years. But there is no surgical treatment as doctor said that these lumps(i have 3 lumps) getting smaller. It is okay without removal of lumps? I afraid of that lumps turn up into dangerous later.by the way, is there any possibility after the surgical, lump can be there again? If so, how to prevent that? Thank you

Hello
As you mentioned that these lumps are getting smaller in size so why ? surgery , rather wait for some more time till resolve completely .
2nd question , recurs after surgery ?
If removed encapsulated ( completely ) and benign in nature , never recurs .
This depends upon you.
In my opinion in such cases consult at least three surgeons before surgery .
Good luck.
