OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Dilated lateral ventricle of size more than10 mm is known as ventriculomegaly and is present in many situations like:
1. Fetal nervous system anomaly
2. Chromosomal anomalies, especially Down syndrome
3. Genetic syndromes
If the fetus do not have any other anomaly, and if you want to keep the baby, it is best to consult a fetal medicine specialist so that a detailed anomaly ultrasound can be done and amniocentesis should be done to rule out any chromosomal anomaly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
