Is It Safe To Have Increased Dose Of Tramadol Without Prescription?

I m 35 years old I ve been prescribed tramadol for the last five years this last year I ve been taking more than prescribed and WD is horrible if I go to ER will they help me thru this and get me help to get off I think I will kill myself if I do not get relief ... I don t have the luxury of rehab need to function at work my kids relay on me

Hello
You are taking tramadol ( dose you din't mention in the query ), this is analgesic ( opioid type ) .
As you mentioned that you are taking more dosage than advised by your doctor .
This is not a good thing as self medication without advise of doctor is not only illogical but also dangerous for health.
Since you are dependent on this drug , so in my opinion need not to visit any ER , rather consult a psychiatrist and get his counselling and treatment for withdrawal symptoms .
Don't be desperate all problems will be solved by treating doctor .
