Is It Safe To Get Pregnant After Undergoing Below Knee Amputation Surgery?
Hello,
my wife went through a ccs surgery (below knee amputation, left leg) January 2007. Regular x-rays everey 3 moths since then, now only every 6.
We are trying to get pregnant, but are worried that this might cause recurrence. Do you have any advice on this?

Ya u can get pregnant after dis surgery...but xrays won't be allowed as it wil affect d baby...n if xrays is very much needed...u can put a lead shield n do after 4 months of pregnancy...u visit ur orthopaedic surgeon n can take a opinion depending on ur condition..u need to have a good diet as well..so dat ur immune system wrks well .
