Is It Safe To Fly When Suffering From Retinal Tear?

My cousin is in Europe and has been diagnosed with a retinal tear? She is currently at a German University waiting to see a retina specialist. Are there any circumstances where it would be safe for her to fly home? I'm Fluent in German and willing to go over rather than risk her eye. She wants to come home.

Hello
It seems from the history that your cousin is suffering from retinal tear. When suffering from retinal tear she needs to avoid injury and sternous activities and treatment is by laser treatment to prevent the development of retinal detachment.

But she she can fly aeroplane there is no contraindication for this, but she needs to take treatment at the earliest to prevent retinal detachment.

Thank you
