Hi,
Metoprolol comes under Category C for safety during Pregnancy & Lactation. It means should be used with caution. In my practice, during lactational period, I usually switch my patients to other medicaitons, somewhat safer drugs, until there is a compelling indication to use metoprolol. Kindly discuss with your primary physician for needful.
