Is It Safe For A Person With Hemorrhoid To Use Lanacane During Pregnancy?
My daughter is 8 months pregnant with her second child. She has a hemorrhoid from her first pregnancy and it seems she has a second one that is really bothering her today. Is it safe for her to use Lanacane or is there something better for her to use?

Lanacane is completely safe to use in this setting while pregnant. It would be even better if she could get a prescription for a steroid cream or foam from her doctor. This is a frustrating problem that might not get completely better until after the delivery. She should also consider stool softeners if she is constipated.
