Is It Possible To Have Prominent Adnoids With Tonsils Removed?
my son had his adoids removed when he was five. Now he is 16 and had an MRI of his brain today for other issues and the only finding was that he has prominent adnoids. We will be making an appointment at Dupont Childrens hospital. I am wondering how that can be if his tonsils were removed.
Hi, thanks for the query. Earlier adenoid were removed by blind technique . So there are chances of incomplete removal. Many cases reported for revision adenoid removal because of earlier incomplete removal by blind technique. Hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
