Is It Possible To Get Pregnant After Having Anal Sex?

I just gave birth to my first baby almost 6 weeks ago and had an episiotomy ...I m healed now. I breastfeed . I recently had anal sex and know it s kind of possible to get pregnant if the semen drips into my vagina from my anus or if I get a little of semen from the towel when I wipe a few times, but I still bleed a little from giving birth sometimes and still don t have my period yet, so is it still possible?

Hi,

Thanks for your query.

I have read your query & I understand your concerns.

Since you have delivered just 6 weeks ago and still breast feed your baby, you will be still in lactational amenorrhea.

Hence chances of you becoming pregnant so soon are almost nil even after semen has gone in to vagina.

Hence I advice you to relax and dont worry about pregnancy.

I hope I answered your query. I will be available for any followup queries you have.

Regards,

Dr.Mahesh Koregol
