Hi,

Yes, it's okay to take Gemifloxacin for 'stomach condition'. Gemifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone group of antibiotic commonly prescribed to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria like pneumonia. It is also found to be effective in the treatment of gastrointestinal infections like bacterial diarrhea caused by microorganisms like shigella, salmonella, toxigenic E coli, and campylobacter. It may be taken as prescribed by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
