Is It Ok To Smoke Marijuana During Abortion?
I am 20 years old 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. I just took the abortion pill today at 10 am, and am going to administer the second set of four pills on thursday. My question is if I am able to smoke marijuana during this process? Or will it jeopardize the effectiveness of the abortion? I called my dr s office and asked but i m pretty sure they just gave me the NO because it s an illegal drug, and many think it isn t a good idea in the first place. I am experiencing severe nausea and Marijuana is the only way I can alleviate this. However, if smoking puts the success rate of my abortion in any danger I do not want to do it. I just want a straight answer and not the it s illegal don t do it answer

Thanks to the legalization of medical marijuana in some areas, research on the effects of marijuana in combination with other types of medications has been studied. Unfortunately, none of the medication used for medical termination of pregnancy has been included in these studies.
However, because the effects of marijuana do not significantly affect the normal female reproductive system in terms of menstruation and the ability to come pregnant it is doubtful that marijuana would have any effect on the effectiveness of medical termination of pregnancy.
