Is It Ok To Have Bad Headaches A Week After Pituitary Surgery?
i had surgery a week ago pituitary tumor and now I am home but having very bad headaches, I was on percocet but was having hallucinations. Now i am on Tramadul and my headaches are still bad. Doctor told me to take tylenol extra strength but my heart race each time. I just took a benadrel to sleep. Is all this ok?
The headaches are apparently the after-effects of surgery and will go way with time. You may try more potent pain killers, such as, ibuprofen, which should relieve you of headaches.
Benadryl contains an anti-histaminic which causes drowsiness and NOT sleep.
