my daughter finished plasmaferisis at about 3:30 yesterday. She has been throwing up fairly steadly since then. She had nausea all the way thru the procedure and is still very nauseated. She is now running a fever around 100. Nothing stays down. Do I need to take her to the ER?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Fatigue, nausea, dizziness, chills during infusion and adrenal fatigue are the symptoms of plasmapheresis.

So use tablet ondonsetron twice a day for five days. Consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
