Is It Normal To Have Elevated Bp During Pregnancy?

I have had always had normal blood pressure throghout my whole pregnancy (av about 110/70) i am exactly 39 weeks pregnant and today i used my bp machine and it measured 140/82?? should i be concerned and calling delivery for advice, on another note i have been getting some very sporadic but deep pelvic pains etc over the last 7-10 days?

Hi, you are in last weeks of pregnancy and false labour pains may be present there. Your blood pressure is 140/82 that is in normal range. Bp may vary with time strenuous activity etc. so if you have doubts, must check it with a nurse or doctor. Otherwise its normal.
